Technical stuff
As you would no doubt expect, we have implemented this site using meaningful XTML markup and CSS, plus a tiny bit of scripting to add the icing to the cake. But there are few other interesting things going on that are not so easily spotted.
Wherever you see our address and contact information, we have used the hCard Microformat to make it easy for you to import that information into your computer address. We also use hCalendar for all our conference and workshop events to enable you to easily import them into your calendar application including Microsoft Outlook and Apple's iCal.
