Politics and ethics
We hope that our sense of humour shows through in our work. But we take certain things very seriously indeed, nothing more so than our political and ethical policy.
- Exploitation of workers
- We do not accept commissions from companies or organisations whose manufacturing processes involve the exploitation of foreign workers, guest workers or child labour in any country. This includes companies or organisations who have closed factories and other plants within the UK and relocated their manufacturing to nations where labour is cheap. We do actively accept commissions from trade unions and other workers' representative organisations and offer reduced rates for these organisations.
- Military
- We do not accept commissions from companies or organisations who provide goods, supplies or products to the military or so-called defence industries of any nation including the UK and the United States of America. We actively accept commissions from organisations campaigning against the UKs export of atomic, biological or chemical weapons.
- Experimentation on laboratory animals
- We do not accept commissions from companies or organisations whose products have at any point been tested on animals. We actively accept commissions from organisations campaigning against experimentation on laboratory animals.
It helps us sleep at night
Some things in life are more important than work or money and taking a stand against what we believe to be unethical or immoral activities goes a long way to helping us sleep at night.
