We are ADP
Plenty of musical talent and some groovy haircuts to boot
My long, lost brother Mikey sent me an email today with a link to a video made by his company, ADP. I just had to share it.
Watching the ADP video made me wonder if, in the light of our recent public relations problems, should the Britpack make a video? After all there is plenty of musical talent and some groovy haircuts to boot.
We could even hold hands to sing the chorus.
Here is the ADP video [link deleted on request]
Now, who is going to write the lyrics?

May I just mention that I am not the man in Elvis glasses that is seen in the photo that accompanies this blog!

Genius.
I think the BritPack video should be identical, but with you guys singing, and working, in just your BritPack pants.

Being a bunch of geeks, though, perhaps we should change it to:
"We are A.D.D."
I'm sure there are a few of us who *must* be borderline! If not actualy ADD (but uncomfirmed!)

May I suggest using "In The Navy" or "Go West" as the track for the Britpack video. Camp it up, gentlemen.

And the icing on the cake? Check out the bottom left corner of the linked site...
This site is optimised for IE5 and above and Netscape 6 and above.
I mean, it's good to know they play with both sides, but that just seems to match the haircuts a bit.
(Granted, I know the video and IE5/N6 wouldn't actually correspond chronologically, but take the joke for what it is.)

I love this idea. You must do it. I particularly like the handclap-breakdown portion of this video where the music cuts out and then returns in an explosion of emotion and inspiration!!
Oh, and it might be worth revisiting the We Are the World video for additional ideas. You'll definitely need to sway to-and-fro in the video.

I took a wrong turn on the ISH and found myself here. Ahhh, the 70's. What a grand time. People working and singing together on hilltops, in back offices. It was a great time to be alive. It is unfortunate that you sad little turds had to miss out on all that good fellowship and goodwill. Maybe you all should produce a rock opera for sxsw next year, with a current and vibe that reflects today's passion and attitude towards living. But to pull it off, you would have to have a performer of the quality that is displayed by the soloist in the ADP video. No Idol contestants please. She makes the video and song work. She is the kind of girl you want to marry and be the mother of your children. I wonder who she is?
